Chip Card company was one of the partners in the project implemented to enable contactless payments using SoftPOS application to the clients of courier service "D Express".
The project lasted six months and aimed to facilitate payment on delivery of shipments, eliminate the need for cash and enable a safe and fast transaction experience for customers.
Users of "D Express" services can pay the postage with their payment card or mobile phone instead of using cash.
Enabling this type of payment on Android devices is by far the most convenient solution for vendors as it does not require purchase of additional hardware - a vendor who has a business Android device/phone can use it to accept contactless cards.
