Banco Sabadell has entrusted Necomplus with the technology development of SmartPOS, one of its most relevant projects, marking the migration of the bank's POS fleet to the Android ecosystem. This innovative initiative launched by the 4th largest Spanish financial institution, allows pre-installing applications on the device, enriching the payment experience with functionalities that are key to progress in the digitization of businesses.
The android POS has a touch screen allowing a simple and intuitive navigation similar to a smartphone.
In addition, its payment module supports new payment methods such as Alipay, as well as a easy-to-use DCC App. Additional to the payment, the Smart POS offers tips management, calculator and bill splitting as the most appreciated features, contributing to the project success in the first phase of commercialization for Horeca industry.
In just 3 months since the project kick-off, Banco Sabadell has affiliated more than 3,000 customers, who have generated over 20,000 installations, managed entirely by Necomplus, Banco Sabadell’s services partner. The success of these results has encouraged the bank to accelerate the commercialization to other verticals.
Sabadell Store, Marketplace of applications
Necomplus, member of Payten, has also developed a marketplace, named BS Store, an Apps repository that is key to the success of the initiative, enabling customers to find the functionalities to improve their businesses, as well as to deliver a unique experience to end users. The Apps marketplace is a showcase of exclusive apps which are constantly updated to meet the merchants’ needs, demonstrating Necomplus' ability to deliver state-of-the-art payment services.
