Necomplus, the payments’ service partner with over 25 years of successful presence in Europe and Latin America, has been awarded the maintenance contract for 30% of VisaNet’s POS network, one of the leading payment companies in Peru.
The extensive experience of Necomplus in the payments industry in Iberia and Latam, where it maintains over 1 million POS, has been a key selection criterion to support Necomplus’s winning proposal. Also, its consolidated local presence in Peru, the wide range of value-added payment solutions and its strong financial position, have supported VisaNet’s decision to choose Necomplus as an outsourcing partner in this deal amounting over € 4 million for a three-year contract, starting in Q4 2019.

Necomplus, member of Payten – the payments’ arm of Asseco - present in over 20 countries, is a reference within the Latin American market, delivering payment services and solutions in Peru, Colombia, the Dominican Republic and recently Mexico. The Latam operations account for 12% of the company's total turnover, a figure that should increase to 18% in 2020.

The maintenance of VisaNet Peru devices adds to other initiatives Necomplus already manages in the country with VisaNet. For instance, "Network Partner" is an existing project where Necomplus affiliates merchants on behalf of VisaNet and provides and maintains the payment terminals.
Necomplus business in other markets
The Spanish company, which also operates in Colombia providing maintenance services for more than 60% of Credibanco's POS network, has also implemented a pilot project to affiliate merchants to Bancolombia’s network. With this initiative, Necomplus signs up the merchants on behalf of the bank, and installs the device in real time[KM1] , being one of the most innovative projects for Bancolombia.
On the other hand, Necomplus has recently launched operations in Mexico, successfully starting a project for implementation and support of petrol stations with one of the largest domestic players, which could result in a relevant three-year deal. This opportunity may result in the opening of a new office in Latin America in 2020, in line with the internationalization strategy awarded back in 2018 by the Spanish Magazine “Economia3”.[KM2]
