Most of the issuers have chosen onboarding to a certified ACS hosting service, enabling them to comply with very tight VISA and MasterCard mandates with reduced implementation costs. In addition to that, Payten is implementing several in-house solutions in Zagrebačka banka, Hrvatska poštanska banka, OTP, and Raiffesenbank Austria, who have been running on-premise ACS implementation projects. Eurobank/Postbank Bulgaria, NLB Ljubljana, SKB, Abanka and Nova KBM will be the first issuers who will have the TriDES2 ACS service in production during September.
To provide the full scope of the 3D Secure service, TriDES2 ACS relies on either Asseco SxS authentication or integration with a third-party authentication solution to support biometry and other types of authentication. Additionally, to provide frictionless authentication based on RBA (Risk Based Authentication), TriDES2 ACS can use either a built-in Risk Scoring Module or an integrated third-party Risk Scoring solution. With such flexible implementation, Payten can enable issuing banks to fulfil all of the 3D Secure requirements and mandates, including best practice end-user experience, regardless of the chosen implementation model, on-premise or hosting.
