In line with the strategy of providing companies in the service industry, especially in the HoReCa segment, with a comprehensive offer and support when it comes to payment solutions, Payten acquired 76% of shares in the company Integrirani poslovni sustavi, with headquarters in Croatia, which operates mainly in Croatia and actively develops operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina under the Remaris brand.
In Croatia, Remaris is the leading company offering comprehensive software solutions for managing business and cash registers in the area of hospitality. Hrvoje Habjanec, member of the Management Board of Remaris, stated: “The mission of Remaris is to bring innovation to the market of hospitality cash registers. It is our pleasure, but also a confirmation of good work, that Payten recognised the potential of Remaris for further growth. I am certain that by joining forces we can take the lead and facilitate business operations for entrepreneurs in the area of hospitality in the numerous countries in which Payten operates.”
Ivan Bušić, member of the Management Board of Payten Croatia, emphasised: “I am very pleased that Remaris has become a part of Payten. Damir Čaušević, member of the Management Boards of Remaris and Monri, added “We want to enable hospitality providers to entrust us to take complete care of all of their payment solutions. In that way, they can pay more attention to their primary business, and we can offer them an entire ecosystem of payment solutions to support their business operations.”
In the last 18 months the Payten company, a member of the Asseco Group, one of the 10 leading producers of software equipment in Europe, has significantly expanded its business operations by acquiring a range of companies dedicated to the development and sales of innovative technological solutions in the payment area in Europe and beyond.
Along with Remaris, Payten was also joined by the company Sonet, which does business in Slovakia and the Czech Republic and offers services in the area of payment technology, including payment terminal (POS) software, followed by Mobven, the leading company in Turkey for the development of solutions in the area of mobile payment technology, Monri, a company which operates in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro and is specialised for the distribution of SinglePOS devices to merchants, offering banks and retailers the possibility of using the WebPay system, and Bassilichi CEE, a company which offers services related to POS and cash machines in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
