Chip Card successfully completed the implementation of UPI card acceptance on POS terminals and ATM devices within the payment infrastructure of Alta Banka a.d. Belgrade during the first quarter of 2026.
Through this project, UPI cardholders are now able to use POS terminals for cashless payments as well as withdraw cash at Alta Bank ATMs. The implementation represents an important step in expanding the acceptance of international payment methods and contributes to greater availability of modern payment services in Serbia.
