At SONET, member of Payten, we continue to lead the evolution of self-service technologies by offering reliable integration of our unattended payment terminals into virtually any self-service system, regardless of the manufacturer. One of the most exciting developments we've recently contributed to is the rise of 24/7 flower vending machines. In cooperation with our partner Eldrut Automatic, we helped launch the first "Čerstvé Kvety" flower vending machines in Slovakia. These units, also known as Bouquemats or Flowermats, are strategically placed in high-traffic locations such as railway stations and shopping centers. Following the initial installation, we successfully equipped more than 30 additional machines across Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Currently, another 10 units are being prepared for deployment.
But the innovation doesn’t stop at flowers. Our Ingenico Self unattended payment terminals are enabling card payments across a wide array of vending solutions: ranging from food and beverages to parcel pick-up lockers. Unique implementations include the first Potatomat in the Czech Republic, as well as specialized vending machines such as Coffee machines, Proteinmats, Cheesemats, Honeymats, Meatmats, and Beautymats.
SONET has also been at the forefront of more creative concepts. Recently, we integrated our technology into the “Příčná ulice” vending machine (inspired by the wizarding world of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts), where fans can purchase themed merchandise in a fully self-service format.
